Facebook to launch Payments in Messenger app for Indian users, similar to PayPal money transfer service, that allow Indian users to send and receive money.

As reported by CNET, the service is already available in the US and will be rolled out to the other regions soon. To use the app and start transferring payments all you need to do is add your Debit Card details in your profile on the messenger app.

Updating Debit Card details is simple on apps like

Android - go to your profile settings on the app then scroll down to payments option and tap on "Add New Debit Card".

iOS - go to settings on the app and scroll down to payments then touch "Add New Debit Card".

Using Messenger Payments app is going to be Free, Easy and secured by PIN. To transfer or receive payments, you need to open a chat of the person. Click on $ button and enter the amount you want to send. You can also add a note if required, then tap on pay, and you are done.
