YU Televentures is a Micromax subsidiary company and the India's largest smartphone maker which came up with new Cyanogen Inc. OS. The founder of YU Televentures is Mr. Rahul Sharna, who is the Co-Founder of Micromax Informatics Limited.

The name Yunicorn was suggested by Yu fans a contest run by Yu for their branded phones. The company founder, Rahul Sharma said
Join us at the unveiling event of Yunicorn that will redefine flagships on Thursday, 19th May from 11am onwards at Darbar, Taj Palace in New Delhi.
But due to election results in five states on the same day, Yu Televentures has taken this decision to postpone the launching event to the end of May.

In the latest teaser, Yu haven't revealed about specifications and price that confirmed that the price would be competitive. Please tell us what do you expect from this device?
