Facebook Messenger Now Supports Free Group Calling
Facebook Messenger goal is to replace the user phone number and now started rolling out free group calling feature to all its participants.

Facebook has initiated the update on the latest version of the app, so users need to check if a new update is required for the Messenger app or no. A phone icon will start appearing on the right corner of the group conversions once the feature is live for all users.

Once of the spokesperson says
There are some situations where typing is not enough and people mostly prefer talking to someone over the phone for free.
Once you receive the feature to call participants in the group conversations and when you are in a call you can see who are the participants present in the group and who is not, The calls are limited to 50 participants per call.

This update is going to make Facebook Messenger one among the Group calling supported apps like Hangouts, Skype, and Slack etc.., Facebook has already updated voice calls feature but supported group calling until now.
