Opera Max Alerts You On Background App Data Consumption

Opera is well-known browser application which works similarly to Internet Explorer, Google Chrome, Firefox and other browsers. A new study from Opera found that many apps are leading to battery drain issue as they are running in the background.

Opera claims that most of the mobile phones are facing this problem because of the apps running in the background. To solve this problem, Opera has released - Opera Max which can only set limits for the background data consuming apps and also notifies users with smart alerts when an app consume more than 10 MB in a week.

Opera studies say that around 30% of the mobile data is lost when the apps are still running in the background. Opera Max saves your data and extends your data plan by controlling the background data usage of apps.

Opera supports VPN connection to save data and manage apps from the cloud storage. This app will not only save your app data usage from mobile data plan but also save the Wi-Fi internet plan and help you watch more videos from YouTube, Netflix and other apps.

This app worked well when I have used and once you install the app wait for some time till it shows all the apps. After that tap on the specific app shown and click on the two small rectangular boxes or last fourth option after zip icon. This will block your app from running in the background when not in use.
