How To Check Whether Your Antivirus Is Working Perfectly Or No

An antivirus is a software tool used to secure the device from the virus. We use different types of antivirus, which will have different features among them. The antivirus can be checked with a harmless test file to know whether our antivirus is working or no.

EICAR Standard Antivirus Test File allows you to check whether the antivirus is virus free or no. The test can be done very easily on your desktop you need to add the code in a file and save it. Once you finished, the antivirus should delete or block the file if not it seems to be a problem for your desktop from the antivirus.

Steps to check the Antivirus working state:

• Save the notepad with any file name with an extension from '.txt' to '.com'. 
• Now try to open that file or scan the file 
• If the antivirus start blocking or deleting means your antivirus if virus free and working perfectly. 
• If it is unable to delete then you need to change the antivirus which has got best review and rating in online or offline with a valid license.

This file doesn't harm your device you can simply delete the file after the test.
