Whenever a user or blogger add a text to the Google Translator it just starts looking into the thousands of documents to help and get a best translation output for you. First it searches whether the text is been translated by a human translator or not then it goes to the documents for searching.
This process is seeking patterns in large amounts of text. Language translation is modified by Google machines not always it can give you the perfectly translated text, but it can reach the accuracy of the translated text.
Google first detects the input language and then starts translating that text to a perfectly translated one. I had a doubt then I start researching about how it works, and got the answer by viewing this video.
