The app also enables you to switch a wide range of movies and TV shows without going for expensive 3G data plans until you are connected with Fropcorn Wi-Fi hotspot. Currently, the app is having around 3000 hours of content to entertain users on the move.
Fropcorn to partner with Airports, Railway stations, Buses and Hospitals in all the places by deploying its location caching technology devices. And today it has launched the on-demand service at Rajiv Gandhi International Airport which is located in Shamshabad, Hyderabad. This makes it First airport to provide on-demand service to the passengers in Asia.
This service enables passengers in the airport to download their choice of movie in 3 minutes with the help of superior grade Wi-Fi servers that are placed in the airport. The most advanced feature is that users can watch the downloaded movie any number of times within next 48 hours.
The startup is now aiming to monetize with the service provided to the users by rolling out a premium feature, which enables users to watch the content free for 30 minutes. Post users will be charged Rs. 30 for 4 hours and for 8 hours journey it will charge Rs. 50 to watch any content which is available on the app.
