WhatsApp gets GIF image support for iOS on latest beta release which is now fixing the bugs and doing some improvements for official app release. This update brings support for auto playing of GIF images on WhatsApp.

The Facebook-owned messaging app is going to surprise the users with the new GIF image sharing feature. Till now, there was no official announcement made when it is going to roll out the general release or when it will release the feature for Android users.

The GIF images will autoplay whenever a user shares a link you have an ability to save the GIF images on the gallery (camera roll) and quickly support for Peek and Pop (3D Touch) actions on GIF images. Users can also reply to the GIF image messages and encrypt the support for GIF share.

At present, Facebook is supporting GIF image sharing and Viber is getting ready to launch a new update with chat backup and GIF image sharing on its platform. WhatsApp will shortly release the GIF image sharing feature on its messaging app.
