YouTube Gets Google Cardboard Support For iOS
YouTube has updated its app for iOS users to bring Google Cardboard support. This new update let users watch YouTube videos in VR mode through Cardboard.

Since November 2015, Android users were enjoying the VR mode through Cardboard support but iOS users were out of luck. Now with latest YouTube app version 11.18 iOS users can start having fun by keeping their iPhones into the Cardboard slot to enjoy the Virtual Reality experience.

Users need to tap on Cardboard icon from 3 dots located on the upper right of the app to watch any normal video in Cardboard mode. You can also enjoy watching VR ready clips by moving to 360 degree video channel on YouTube directly without going for any settings.

This new creative feature will help the YouTube content creators, Event Organizers who can live stream their concerts in 360-degrees. With the support of Google Cardboard YouTube will further broaden the count of users.

YouTube updated its app on iOS just a week after Google updated its video streaming app with bug fixes. The recent bug fix on Homepage prevents loading of more videos after scrolling to the bottom. It also added automatically play the next recommended video on the app.
